This mug comes with a tea strainer and a lid. If you have other mugs from VIVA, the strainer and lid might fit on those too. I didn’t think that I needed a lid for my mug until I tried this. I keep my house on the cool side so my hot drinks tend to cool down very quickly. With the lid, I can have a warm drink stay warm a bit longer. The strainer is pretty good because the holes are small enough to keep most of the tiny bits of tea out. It also came in a nice box that was nice enough to look like a gift box. I also appreciate the fact that the mugs and cups I bought from VIVA had no smells like some cheaper products often do.
